Landfill Solar’s patented approach was specifically developed to address the inherent challenges associated with landfill installations. Our patent racking system holds the solar modules to form an array. The arrays attaches to a patented clamping mechanism that encases the interconnected corrugated tubes that form the Ballast System. Each array includes height and tilt adjusting mechanisms that allow it to be positioned and “tuned” to optimize its power generating efficiency. Our approach does not use concrete or invasive fasteners that can threaten the integrity of the cap. We also minimize the use of nuts, bolts or unnecessary fasteners which means arrays can be assembled in minutes, not hours. This approach is extremely user-friendly and simple to maintain for the long-term since no specialized equipment is needed.
